The harvest of the Bafarela Reserva Red 2019 took place in September. With a rigorous selection in the vineyard, the grapes were totally destemmed and crushed.
After cold pre-fermentation skin contact for 48 hours, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with a total maceration of more than 40 days but without major extractions. The wine was then transferred to stainless steel tanks where the malolactic fermentation took place, then passed directly into 500 liter French oak barrels for the first, second and third uses, where it aged for a period of 12 months.
Bafarela Reserva Red 2019 presents itself with a beautiful color, slightly purple. The intense aromas are dominated by red fruits, floral notes (violet) and spices. Intense and with a very characteristic profile, it is a persistent wine, with a fresh and long finish.
