In 1595, Louis Joseph d'Aqueria bought this district of Tavel. His son, Robert d'Aqueria, hereditary Count Palatine, built a residence, which during the 18th century became the Château as we know it. After the Count of Aqueria, many families would in turn own Château d'Aqueria, but the estate will keep its wine-growing vocation throughout the centuries, so specific to this exceptional terroir.
L’Heritage Red 2016 is a cuvée produced in exceptional vintages, in which Grenache Noir and Mourvèdre make a perfect marriage. It is then that Mourvèdre will be able to express all these noble qualities, power and finesse.
This is a powerful, tannic and dry red wine. Grenache and Mourvèdre unite to perfection, offering all their typicality, sublimated by the expression of the terroir. Supported by a slight oakiness, these two grape varieties exalt deep aromas of black fruits.
