Domaine de Bonserine is located north of the Côte Rôtie in Verenay, just a little northeast of the town of Ampuis. Domaine de Bonserine is the second largest vineyard owner in the entire Côte Rôtie appellation, with 10.5 hectares of vines. All their work in the vineyard is carried out in sustainable agriculture.
Les Ediles Red 2010, like those high magistrates in charge of supplying Roman cities, is a powerful, tannic and dry wine. It reveals itself as a dense and silky cuvée.
To the eye, it has a ruby color with purplish reflections and an expressive nose of small black and red fruits, spicy, with sweet empyreumatic notes. On the palate, it is smooth, complex but digestible. The present tannins are well integrated thanks to a long and precise ageing.
