wine menu/
A batch of the finest varietal wines from each vintage to honor the company founder, grown on shale and shale/granite soils at altitudes of 160-650m. Produced with automatic granite presses and clarified in stainless steel tanks, it was then aged for 6 months in Seguin Moreau French oak barrels.
It is a red wine with an intense dark color, almost opaque. Ripe red fruits from the Douro Superior, such as cherries, strawberries, blueberries or blackberries, are always evident on the palate with lots of freshness and shine, highlighting nuances of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves , resin, tobacco, very well combined with wood. It is voluptuous, with firm but round tannins, balanced by a salivary acidity. The finish is intense, balanced, complex and mysterious.
It is a very gastronomic wine that goes perfectly with main courses of cod or red meat. A great option to drink or store.
