The first vines of Château Mont Redon date from Roman times, at the foot of a hill and sheltered from the mistral. From 1923, Henri Plantin and his descendants worked on Château Mont-Redon, in many plots of land.
The terroir is characterized by large rolled pebbles which store the heat of the generous sun of Provence during the day and restore it at night. The pebble height is 2 meters. Below, there is a clay bench where the roots of the vine draw their water needs from.
This is a red wine from Châteauneuf-du-Pape with characteristic grape varieties, such as muscardin, cinsault, mourvèdre and counoise from 2017. It has aromas of oak, tobacco, leather and smoke, with scents of black fruit.
