Developed during the blending of Château Smith Haut-Lafitte, Le Petit Haut-Lafitte has been vinified and matured with as much care as the Grand Vin in the cellar. The young vines of Petit Haut-Lafitte are located in the prestigious French wine estate of the Bordeaux vineyards and this wine has the Pessac-Léognan appellation (AOC).
Petit Haut-Lafitte expresses all its aromatic potential between the ripe fruits and spices of its Cabernet Sauvignons: blackberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, liquorice, star anise, thyme, cedar, vanilla and flint. To the eye, it has a dark, brilliant red color. On the nose, it is discreet, but opens up quickly on agitation, revealing notes of red and black fruits, hints of spices, tobacco and a hint of caramel. On the palate, it is closed and dynamic. The tannin structure is present, with a good and nice sweet texture.
