In the heart of Geneva Champagne, at Domaine des Graves, a 100-year-old wine-growing heritage, a fifth generation of the Cadoux family is already preparing to take on the Domaine forward. With soils of glacial origin, mixed, clayey, gravelly and sandy soils, and small plots of vines located in several municipalities and even sometimes straddling the border, this is the specificity of the Domaine.
As the typical nature of the land and the amount of sunshine there are very variable, this requires adapting viticulture techniques, knowing the grape varieties in order to offer them the most profitable soil.
Noir Combe Red 2019 is a round, fat wine, with a smoky, toasted and slightly spicy scent on the palate. The wine is produced from Gamaret, a typical Swiss grape variety, which gives it a dark ruby color. Fat and roundness are dominant, which makes it a fine wine to lay down. The Gamaret is not a featherweight, it is more suitable for cool days.
