The Herdade do Arrepiado Velho, a 19th century property built respecting the traditional architecture of the region, in the Alentejo, was purchased in 2001 by the Antunes family who launched an ambitious project: to transform Arrepiado Velho into an asset and a reference of excellence in Alentejo.
Covering a total area of approximately 100 hectares, the 33 hectares of vines were planted in 2002 on a terroir that combines, in a rare blend, schistose soils with pronounced slopes, mild temperatures and an abundance of water, natural features indicating great potential.
Arrepiado Collection Reserva Blanc was aged for 12 months, fermented and aged in French oak barrels. It has a light, bright straw color, an exuberant aroma and some spicy, toasty and citrus notes. Rich on the palate, persistent and fresh.
