Piccini 1882/Tenute Piccini is a historic Tuscan winery owned by the Piccini family, who have lived and worked in the heart of the Chianti Classico region since 1882.
The “leggero appassimento” technique, its light drying, consists of reducing the water present in the grapes. Dehydration produces an increase in the sugar present of the grape. The resulting wine has exuberant notes of red fruits and a complex and elegant tannic texture.
Solco Appassite Red 2020 catches the eye with its intense red, enriched with precious violet nuances. The nose reveals unmistakable aromas of red fruits, among which cherry and black cherry stand out, enveloped in the gentle embrace of sweet spices. A full-bodied wine that never loses its refined elegance. The silky tannic texture offers the palate a pleasant feeling of sweetness with a long and persistent finish.
