Quinta do Vallado, founded in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous estates in the Douro Valley.
It is located on the banks of the Corgo River, a tributary of the Douro River, right next to its mouth and close to the town of Peso da Régua.
The Quinta belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and remains in the hands of her descendants to this day.
On the nose, Old Tawny 10 Ans has rich aromas, combining notes of caramelized dried fruit, praline and candied orange, ending with hints of tobacco. On the palate, it has a delicious, rich and velvety attack, with a lot of freshness. Long and complex finish.
